SUPPLY LIST (Please label your own supplies)
• Tools and materials for the work you've decided to concentrate on
Also:
• Objects, photographs, books, articles (not necessarily on art) that relate to your work and interests. Things to create a rich environment for yourself to work in and to give others a better understanding of your interests.
• Slides, digital, or other images of your work
• A copy of the book Bird By Bird by Anne Lamott. We will use this as a starting point for discussing our individual ways of keeping the work going and developing. You may read it before the class or wait and read it during the week of the Master Class.
• An example of an artist statement, that you like (not your own), and a picture of that artists work if possible. This should be a few sentences to a paragraph the type that you might see in an exhibition catalogue
• Books, catalogues, and magazines to share with others - we will have a "library" table for these.
